A. Aims and objectives
- In this period, Ss practice reading and listening skills.
- After the lesson , Ss will be able to:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic Classroom instructions.
+ Give and respond to classroom instructions
+ ask for and give permission, using May I …? And Yes, you can. / No, you can’t.
+ pronounce the sounds of the letters c and d in the words come and down respectively.

- Ss: book Tieng anh 3.
- T: stereo, teaching plan, pictures.
C. Contents and organization.
I. Warm up
- T and Ss greet.



II. Old lesson
- Revise : May I__________?
Yes, you can.
No, you can’t.
III. New lesson.
- Tell pls that they are going to listen and tick the correct boxes.
- T elicit name of the characters and what they might say.
- Show ss how to carry out the task and tick the boxes.
- Play the recording 3 times for pls to listen, do the task and check their answers.
- Call ss to give the answers.
- Play the recording the last time.
- T give feedback if necessary.
- Tell pupils that they are going to read all the dialogues on the left and pair them with the pictures on the right by drawing a line between them.
- Ask ss to read the text in silence.
- Do example with the first pair.
- Get ss to work in pairs.
- Call some Ss to give their answers.
- T give feedback.
- divide the class into two groups and get them to read A’s lines and B’s lines respectively.

- Tell Ss that they are going to look at the pictures and fill the gaps with the appropriate words.
- Get Ss to look at the pictures and read the text in silence.
- Ss do the task individually.
- Ss swap and correct their answers in pairs.
- Call on some Ss write the answers.
- Ss give comment and feedback

- In this period, Ss practice speaking and listening. They learn how to talk about school facilities.
- After the lesson , Ss can:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic My school.
+ talk about school facilities, using That is the + (school facilities)
B. Materials
- Ss: book Tieng anh 3.
- T: stereo, teaching plan, pictures.
C. Contents and organization.
I. Warm up
- T and Ss play game “Simon say”
II. Old lesson

III. New lesson.
- Tell ss that they are going to talk about school and school facilities. T point to the first picture and elicit name of the teacher. Then explain what the characters say and the meaning of the new vocabulary.
- Play the recording twice times. SS listen and repeat.
- Get ss to work in pairs to practice the dialogue..
- Call some pairs to practise aloud. T listen and give feedback.

- Tell pls that they are going to practice saying That is + (school facilities).
- Point to each picture and check comprehendsion. Teach the new vocabulary.
- have Ss repeat the new words a few times.
- Point the 1st pic and elicit the word to fill the gap. Put the sentence on the board. Have pls repeat it
