A. Aims and objectives
- In this period, Ss practice reading and listening. They learn how to ask and answer the colour of school things.
- After the lesson , Ss can:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic school things.
+ Ask and answer about school things, using Is this/ that + (school thing)?
+ Ask and answer questions about the colour of school things, using What colour is it/ are they?
+ pronounce the sounds of the letters i and o in the words it and orange respectively.

- Ss: book Tieng anh 3.
- T: stereo, teaching plan, pictures.
C. Contents and organization.
I. Warm up
- T and Ss greet.



II. Old lesson
- - Revise : What colour is / are + (school thing(s))

III. New lesson.
- Tell pls that they are going to listen and tick the correct boxes.
- T elicit name of the characters and what they might say.
- Show ss how to carry out the task and tick the boxes.
- Play the recording 3 times for pls to listen, do the task and check their answers.
- Call ss to give the answers.
- Play the recording the last time.
- T give feedback if necessary.
- Tell pupils that they are going to match the sentences on the left with the pictures on the right.
- Ask ss to look at the pictures and read the text in silence.
- Get ss to work in pairs.
- Call some Ss to give their answers.
- T give feedback.
- call individual Pls to read the text aloud.

- Tell Ss that they are going to look at the pictures and fill the gaps with the appropriate words.
