A. Aims and objectives
- In this period, Ss practice speaking and listening. They learn how to ask and answer about break time activities.
- After the lesson , Ss can:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic At break time
+ Ask and answer about break time activities, using What do you do at break time?
+ Express likes and dislikes, using Do you like + activity?
+ pronounce the sounds of the letters bl and sk in the words blind and skating respectively.
B. Materials
- Ss: book Tieng anh 3.
- T: stereo, teaching plan, pictures.
C. Contents and organization.
I. Warm up
- T and Ss play game “find a seat”
II. Old lesson
- Revise : Do you like __________?
Yes, I do.
No, I don’t.
III. New lesson.
- Tell pls that they are going to practice saying the letters, words and sentences in the book.
- Write the letters bl and sk on the board.
- Say them a few times.
- Ss repeat.
- Play the recording 1st time.
- Play twice times.
- Divide ss into 2 groups and repeat.
- Call some Ss to pracise aloud.
- Listen and correct ss’ misstakes if necessary.

- Tell ss the listening purposes.
- Get ss to read the text.
- Play the recording 3 times.
- Get Ss check their answers in pairs.
- Call on some Ss write down the answer on the board.
- T comment and give feedback.
- Get pls to work in pairs and practice saying sentences

- Tell pupils that they are going to say What do you do at break time?
- Play the recording
- Have ss to repeat chorus line by line.
- Ask group of three to the front of the class. Each of them sings the song twice.
- Divide class into group of 6 to practise.
- Call some group sing aloud.

IV. Consolidation.
- Ss say the chant I play chess. I play chess.
V. Homelink.
- Ss o exercise in exercise’s book.
- Prepare next lesson.
