A. Aims and objectives
- In this period, Ss practice speaking and listening. They learn how to ask and answer questions about pets.
- After the lesson , Ss can:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic Pets.
+ Ask and answer questions about pets, using Do you have any + (word for pets)?
B. Materials
- Ss: book Tieng anh 3.
- T: stereo, teaching plan, pictures.
C. Contents and organization.
I. Warm up
- T and Ss sing a song “The more we are together”.
II. Old lesson
No checking
III. New lesson.
- Tell ss that they are going to talk about pets they have, using Do you have any pets?. T point to the first picture and elicit name of the character. Then explain what the characters say and the meaning of unfamiliar words.
- Play the recording twice times. SS listen and repeat.
- Get ss to work in pairs to practice the dialogue..
- Call some pairs to practise aloud. T listen and give feedback.

- Tell pls that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about pets, using Do you have any….?.
- Point to each pictures and check comprehendsion. Teach the new vocabularies.
- Get ss to repeat new words a few times.
- Elicit the words to fill the question
