II. Old lesson
- Revise : What is he/ she doing?

III. New lesson.
- Tell pls that they are going to listen and tick the correct boxes.
- T elicit name of the characters and what they might say.
- Show ss how to carry out the task and tick the boxes.
- Play the recording 3 times for pls to listen, do the task and check their answers.
- Call ss to give the answers.
- Play the recording the last time.
- T give feedback if necessary.

- Tell pupils that they are going to read and complete the text.
- Ask ss to read the text in silence.
- Get ss to work individually and do the task.
- Call some Ss to give their answers.
- T give feedback.

- Tell pupils that they are going to read and answer the questions about Quan.
- Get Ss to read the questions in silence.
- Ss do the task individually.

- After the lesson , Ss can:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic Outdoor activities.
+ Ask and answer questions about someone is doing, using what are they doing?.

- Ss: book Tieng anh 3.
- T: stereo, teaching plan, pictures.
C. Contents and organization.
I. Warm up

III. New lesson
- Tell ss that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about Outdoor activities.
- Draw pls’ attention to the first pic and elicit the names of the characters and the text in the bubbles. T explain what they say.
- Play the recording three times for Ss say along.
- Get ss to work in pairs to practice the dialogue.
- Call some pairs to practise aloud. T listen and give feedback.

- Tell ss that they are going to practice asking and answering the question What are they doing?.
- Have Ss look at the pictures and elicit the meanings of the verbs.
