A. Aims and objectives
- In this period, Ss practice speaking and listening. They learn how to introduce someone.
- After the lesson , Ss can:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic Introduction.
+ Introduce someone , using This is + (name)
+ Ask and answer questions about someone, using Is this/ Is that + name?
+ Pronounce the sounds of the letters t and y in the words Tony and yes respectively.

- Ss: book Tieng anh 3.
- T: stereo, teaching plan, pictures, puppets.
C. Contents and organization.
I. Warm-up
- T and Ss sing the How are you song.
II. Old lesson
- Revise the previous lesson.
III. New lesson
- Tell pls that they are going to practice saying the letters, words and sentences in the book.
- Write the letters b and h on the board. Say them a few times.
- Ss repeat.
- Play the recording 1st time.
- Play twice times.
- Divide ss into 2 groups and repeat.
- Call some Ss to pracise aloud.
- Listen and correct ss’ misstakes if necessary.

- Tell ss the listening purposes.
- Get ss to read the text.
- Play the recording 3 times.
- Get Ss check their answers in pairs.
- Call on some Ss write down the answer on the board.
- T comment and give feedback.

- Get pls to work in pairs and practice saying sentences.
- Tell pls that they are going to say Hello chant.
- T read the chant and check comprehension.
- Play the recording a few times for pls to do choral and individual repetition.
- T show how to chant and do the actions.
- Get Ss sit face to face and practice chanting and doing the actions.
- Call two groups to the front of the class to chant and do the actions. The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm of the chant.
- Tell pupils that they are going to read the text and complete the sentences.
- Ask ss to read the text in silence.
- Do example with the first pair.
- Get ss to work in pairs.
- Call some Ss to give their answers.
- T give feedback.
IV. Consolidation
- The whole class say Is that Nam chant

- Ss do exercise in exercise’s book.
