- In this period, Ss practice speaking and listening skills. They learn how to ask and answer questions about ages.
- After the lesson , Ss will be able to:
+ Use the words and phrases related to the topic Ages.
+ ask and answer about someone, using Who’s that? It’s ….
+ Ask and answer questions about someone’s age, using How old are you? I’m …

III. New lesson
- T use pupets to elicit name of the characters.
- Tell ss that they are going to ask and answer about ages.
- Play the recording twice times.
- Get ss to work in pairs to practise.
- Call some pairs to practise aloud. T listen and give feedback.
- T explain how to spell one’s name.

- Point to the pictures in the book and elicit name of the characters. Tell pls that they are going to practice asking and answering about ages. Using How old are you ?
- Elicit the words to fill the gap.
- Get ss to work in pairs
- Go around to offer help.
- Call some pairs to practise aloud.
- Listen and give feedback

- Tell Ss that they are going to practice more with their friends.
- Ask ss to guess what the children say.
- Fill the gaps and write the sentences on the board.
- Ask the class to repeat the questions and the answers a few times.
- Get ss to work in pairs or group of four, using characters’ name in the book or their own names.
- Call some pairs to do the dialogue in front of the class.
- T correct the pronounciation, if necessary.

- Tell pls that they are going to listen and fill the gaps in the sentences.
- Get Ss to look at the pictures and read the text.
- Play the recording three times for pls to listen, do the task and check their answers.
- Get ss’s answer.
- T give feedback.
